Out of the box
At some point in life, one must choose. The first step is half the journey for it takes a leap of faith. If you look for me inside closed doors, i,e, inside a box, you will not find me though I once was there.

a sunbeam lights

The awesome mystery of transformation when light enters the scene; and when night enters, then too, illumination comes through dreams and visions it gives one.
what I could not know
leaving behind the comfort
of shadows
a leap of faith begins the day when one takes a step outside the box, charged with a vision and a strategy to work it through, enlightenment, a compass and a map.

PS: This style of writing comes from the Japanese style "haibun".
A haibun begins with prose. This prose could be composed of current events, something observed, or a recount similar to that of writing a diary. A haibun ends or has breaks that are haiku (2 concrete images that juxtapose with each other, suggestion much more without conclusion) or tanka (which can be described as short a love song expressed through images from the natural world based on personal experiences).
