Morning Calm (toward better connection)

Where is the place where our character can largely expound and grow toward its potential? Is it work? Is it at home? Why at home? I feel that in either case, the opportunity for growth arises, but the center from where it occurs is in relation to others. It is there that we find ourselves confronted, challenged. It is there we often find ourselves at war, and the world at large is surely proof enough of our human state. Yet, we all long for peace. We all long for a love that never stops. The whole universe, in fact, thrives on relationships, and we come to know we are each a part of the whole, and the universe seems to wait for something, ... human excellence?
Before we can relate to another in truth, we need to heal from the past; not only our own but our generational past, which is responsible in great part to how we treat and/or relate to one another.

Recently I came across this webinar on Family Healing through relational connection, organized by the Women's Federation for World Peace USA, and I would like to share it with you.
